SUNDAY

The week-long Workshops begin on Sunday at 12 NOON and end Friday night around 6pm. On Sunday afternoon, the first day of the workshop, you will need to complete the following:

• Check in at the Registration Table outside (weather permitting) or inside the lobby of the School of Music.
This is where you will get your final paperwork for the week, including your name tag, theory quiz, personal fact sheet (which you'll need to give to the faculty at your audition), etc. This registration process will begin Sunday around 12 NOON and last until about 4pm.

• You need to Audition.
Signs will be posted in the lobby of the School of Music to tell you what room to go to for your audition. Auditions are done on a first-come, first-serve basis, so if there is a line, you can take advantage of the time to fill out your personal fact sheet and theory quiz. Auditions will begin probably around 1pm, depending on when the faculty for your particular instrument are set up and ready to go. Auditions should be completed BEFORE 4:30PM ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON. If you have a unique situation where you are not arriving until after 4:30pm on Sunday, call us!

• Complete and return your Theory Quiz.
It's a great idea to do this while waiting for your audition, but there's not a strict time limit for your quiz as there is for the auditions, so make the audition your priority! You can complete and turn in the theory quiz (at the lobby desk with Jason) after you audition.

• Check-in at the Dorms.
If you're staying in the dorms, you'll need to check in with the campus housing staff to get your keys. Dorm check-in times will be from 12pm until about 5pm on Sunday. You will check into your dorms AT the dorm itself; NOT in the lobby of the School of Music. If you are unsure of the dorm you will be staying in, you may speak with any of the Summer Workshops staff at the lobby desk in the lobby of the School of Music. We will point you in the right direction.

• Sunday Night Meal at Masterson's.
Everyone who is on the meal plan will be eating at Masterson's Restaurant. All others are invited to join and pay a la carte. You may choose this option for every meal at Masterson's if you are not signed up for the meal plan.

• REQUIRED meeting at 7:00pm for students under 18.
This is a REQUIRED meeting for the under 18 crowd to get to know the "camp parents" and a thorough discussion of the Code of Conduct form will be discussed.

• First general meeting and Faculty Concert at 7:30pm.
This is an important meeting that ALL are expected to attend. Following Jamey's presentation, there will be a faculty concert -- these folks will blow you away!

• Rental Equipment and Combo Assignment
After the concerts on Sunday night, Rhythm section players and anyone who has reserved rental equipmnent will be asked to remain in the auditorium to receive their combo assignment and check-out their rental equipment. This task is for RHYTHM SECTION PLAYERS ONLY - BASSISTS, DRUMMERS, and GUITARISTS and only the select few who NEED rental equipment. You will be given instructions on how to get your equipment to your combo room before Sunday night ends. Everyone else, horn players strings, vocalists, etc. will receive their combo assignments first thing Monday morning.
