WEEK-LONG WORKSHOP & 2-DAY SEMINAR w/JAMEY

You may attend Jamey's 2-day "Anyone Can Improvise!" Seminar AND the Week-Long Workshop at the University of Louisville consecutively. Get Jamey's classroom presentations followed immediately by a week of intensive, hands-on instruction with our All-Star faculty! We always reserve the right to refuse registrations as space and instrumentation limitations require.

"Anyone Can Improvise!" Seminar; Saturday and Sunday

followed immediately by

Week-Long Workshop; Sunday thru Friday

This is the perfect opportunity for you to get the most out of your summer jazz experience! You begin by taking Jamey's 2-day "Anyone Can Improvise!" seminar. This relaxed program, in a classroom (lecture) format, with Jamey as the only teacher, is a great way to get started correctly on the road to being a better jazz improvisor. Jamey's informative and entertaining presentations will get you excited about the possibilities and inspire you to be creative. Plus, you can ask any question you want about jazz improv and get the answer from Jamey himself! The 2-day seminar goes all day Saturday (from 10am until about 6pm), and then picks up again on Sunday morning from 9am until about 3pm. THEN, when the 2-day Seminar is complete, you simply return to the lobby of the School of Music and get setup for the Week-long Workshop! Nothing could be easier!

These two programs are separate, and you may attend either one and benefit greatly without attending both - but when combined they make for a powerful 7 days of jazz instruction.
